Description
Scrim tape, also known as drywall tape or joint tape, is a type of self-adhesive mesh tape that is used in construction and home renovation projects to reinforce joints between sheets of drywall or plasterboard.
Scrim tape is ideal to always have on hand if you’re new to plastering as you can use it to divide a large wall into several sections. More experienced plasterers will also have a roll with them for jobs involving ceiling and flexible walls. You can place the scrim tape over screws or nail heads to prevent any plaster from popping when dry.
